Comrade martyr Shadia Abu-Ghazaleh
Born in Nablus in 1949, Shadia Abu Ghazaleh studied in its schools before enrolling at the Faculty of Psychology and Social Sciences in Ein-Shams University, Egypt in 1966.

refused to leave her country and attended the Department of Psychology and Social Sciences at An-Najah College.
She joined the Arab Nationalist movement in 1964 as a member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) and was a strong activist in military resistance.
She organized and led women’s military units, acting as commander in Nablus District.
She was killed, when a bomb she was preparing exploded in a safe house in the old city of Nablus.
